Botanical Gardens
Nature lovers will adore not only Hagley Park but the Christchurch Botanic Gardens, where you can experience local and exotic plants from all over the world. This is one of the most visited and much-loved sites in Christchurch dating back to 1863 with over 20 hectares of plant collections. A great place to enjoy the famous Rose Garden, visit the adjoining Canterbury Museum, or take a boat ride along the Avon River.
